ABUJA, Nigeria — The Allied People's Movement (APM) has lauded Nigerian youths, describing them as patriotic and resilient in the face of numerous national challenges. The party extended congratulations to the nation's young people on the occasion of International Youth Day, which this year carried the theme, "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations."

In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Dr. Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, the APM acknowledged that while young people's lives are influenced by diverse national and local circumstances, their fundamental aspirations remain similar. The party highlighted that Nigerian youth seek dignity, opportunity, meaningful participation in national affairs, decent employment, quality education, and a secure future as the leaders of tomorrow.

The APM proudly recalled the significant role played by the nation's youth in achieving independence in 1960. It further noted their consistent leadership in the socio-economic and political development of the country, citing achievements in sports, education, and technological innovation.

The party emphasized its youth-centric approach, pledging to operate an inclusive government should it secure power in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. The APM called for the occasion of International Youth Day to be utilized for appreciating and recognizing Nigerian youth, thereby fostering an environment conducive to their success and greatness.
